Become a volunteer driver mentor with the MRC Tas Learn to Drive Program!
Obtaining a driver’s licence is life changing, as it can help people to gain independence and access a range of opportunities.
To become a Learner Driver Mentor, all you need is a full driver’s licence and the ability to volunteer a couple of hours a week.
To use the MRC Tas vehicle for driving practice mentors need to:
- Be over 25 years with a minimum of 2 years’ experience on an Australian licence
- Supply a police check for good character and driving record
- Supply a working with vulnerable people check
