The Big Tassie Walk is back!
Registrations are now open for The Big Tassie Walk 2026. Every October, Tasmanians walk 45km to 335km – or set their own goal – to raise funds for migrants and refugees rebuilding their lives here. Many arrive not knowing anyone, unfamiliar with how things work here, and some carrying the lasting effects of displacement and trauma – and your walk helps fund the casework, counselling, and job support that gets them settled.
Rally your workplace, get your friends and family moving, and bring the dog along too. Fundraising is more fun together – form a team and challenge yourselves to go further with mates.
Join the Big Tassie Walk today, and help build a Tasmania where everyone belongs.
The walk runs from 1-31 October.
