Play 2 Learn

Play2Learn is a fun time for you to share with your child. Play2Learn gives your child the chance to learn, grow and prepare for school. Play2Learn is often conducted as part of the ‘It Takes a Village’ program model. In this situation, newly arrived humanitarian entrants with children aged 0 – 5 years are welcome to attend.

Come and join us for:

  • Lots of play activities
  • Healthy snacks
  • Music and story time
  • Fun and friendship
  • Support with parenting

When: Fridays during school term, 10:00am – 12:00pm

‘It Takes a Village’ is a multicultural program for newly arrived families. It incorporates several strategies to help families settle into new communities, as well as to provide early childhood development experiences and support with school life.

MRC Tas is pleased to partner with Save the Children to deliver this program.
