Meeting topic: The Careers Collective
Join us for our May networking event to hear guest speakers share some career advice:
- Independent Alderman Kelly Sims. Kelly is involved in Community Services, advocacy, working with the vulnerable and has applied these skills in other career stages with her experience through small businesses and local government to empower and represent the community. This career adaptability is needed by many migrants.
- Christine Campbell from Huon Valley City Council
- Quan Nguyen, Social Worker at MRC Tas
The field of Community Services is extensive, ever expanding, and is the heart of what we do here at MRC Tas. This will be a good opportunity to gain more insight into this rewarding career, what you can do to give back to the Tasmanian community and interact with industry professionals. Nibbles will also be provided.
