Migrant Network Meet Ups online event

Are you a migrant? Job seeking? Or would your stories and experiences help other migrants?
You’re invited to the first Migrant Network Meet Ups of 2021!
The major objective of these events is support migrants to come together, share experiences in Tasmania, and help each other to thrive in Tasmania and in our careers!
Based on feedback from the February consultation, the next Meet Up is online. We have two special guests!
Special guests
Arman Onick will share his story of being a student, getting a skilled job with the government, and getting active in the community.
For a hiring perspective we have special guest Dr Farveh Farivar who is a Human Resource and Management lecturer from the Tasmanian school of business and economics (UTAS).
- When: Friday, 26 March 2021, 3:00pm – 5:00pm
- Where: Online in Microsoft Teams. (You can download the app or join via browser without installing anything)
