Migrant Network Meet-up – August

Join us for our August networking event to meet special guest speakers Darya Kuznyetsova and Penny Stringer share some of their career advice and networking tips.

Darya is from the Glenorchy Jobs Hub and also a former MRC Tas intern. She has progressed tremendously with her career in multiple roles ever since she moved to Tasmania. This career adaptability is needed by many migrants.

Penny, Industry Engagement Coordinator is from the University of Tasmania’s LEAP team. The LEAP team are focused on developing tailored, mutually beneficial partnerships with employers to ensure work-ready graduates will help to sustain the future competitiveness of the state.

Career networking is essential not only for migrants, but for anyone seeking to expand their professional network. We have gathered feedback from our past meet-ups and have allowed for this event to focus on career networking with more interactive activities with industry professionals and guest speakers. Nibbles will also be provided.
