This workshop provides the foundational knowledge and understanding needed to work effectively with people from diverse culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) backgrounds. Topics include: *Migration and diversity in Tasmania including languages *Refugee settlement experience *culture and cultural competency *cross cultural differences *culturally sensitive communication
Appropriate for people working within education, health, government, youth or community sectors.
