Over the past nine months Migrant Resource Centre Tasmania, in partnership with the Multicultural Council of Tasmania and MRC North, embarked on a statewide consultation project to inform the State Governments next Multicultural Action. Over 800 people responded to our online survey and more than 200 people attended community forums across the state, providing valuable feedback on the success and challenges of living in Tasmania. Community also provided some amazing ideas and solutions to help government develop an Action Plan that will result in genuine outcomes and opportunities for Multicultural Tasmanians.
The report will inform the development of the State Government’s next Multicultural Action Plan, which is due to be released later this year.
