The Migrant Resource Centre Southern Tasmania – trading as Migrant Resource Centre Tasmania (MRC Tas) has been helping migrants, humanitarian entrants and refugees to settle comfortably in Tasmania since 1979. We have offices located in Glenorchy and Launceston.
MRC Tasmania offers a wide range of services to people from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds. Our services include support for older people, specialised settlement services including the Humanitarian Settlement Program, youth work, mental health services, community development, migration services and assistance with employment.
We are a not-for-profit organisation that provides support for individuals and helps families connect with their local community and MRC Tasmania promotes the needs of multicultural communities and works with mainstream services to support the delivery of responsive and culturally inclusive services.
